The Backwoods splitboard features an iconic tapered shape for float and agility,
a< high-tech, lightweight Paulownia core for snap and response, and a durable polyamide topsheet for added durability.

The Backwoods is a powder and freeride hybrid that favors trees, powder and steeps.
Like most powder boards, the Backwoods has a very wide nose and a tapered tail, but it differs in its medium-stiff flex,
our freeride camber-dominated profile and only 10 mm setback.
This combination makes the board maneuverable in trees and fast in deep snow.
A strong core of poplar and bamboo stringers ensures that the board remains flexible and surfy,
while carbon stringers from tip to tail give the board a little more pop.
The castor-based, robust nylon topsheet helps repel snow and provides added durability,
; while the sintered 4001 base, in a minimalist black design, ensures top speed and seamless repairs.
