After more than four years of development, PIEPS is proud to present a new, groundbreaking transceiver that ushers in a new era: the PIEPS PRO IPS with an 80-meter search strip width and particularly stable transmission and search performance thanks to the INTERFERENCE PROTECTION SYSTEM (IPS) and DUAL ANTENNA SIGNAL PROCESSING (DASP).
These groundbreaking innovations make the PIEPS PRO IPS the absolute benchmark for avalanche transceivers. The Interference Protection System reduces the influence of sources of interference in transmit mode as much as possible. DASP enables unprecedented signal stability during the search by simultaneously processing the signals from the X and Y antenna.

VICTIM SELECTION
Targeted search with strategy! In the detailed SCAN mode, the transceiver indicates the direction
and distance for each burial to enable a targeted rescue strategy.
GROUP CHECK PRO MODE
Check like a PRO! Efficiently check whether the transceivers in the group are transmitting and receiving correctly.
INCLINOMETER
The inclinometer function indicates the steepness of the terrain.
ADVANCED SEARCH CONTROL
Visual, acoustic and haptic support during the search. Prompts you to turn around if you are heading in the wrong direction (180° error).
AUTO ANTENNA SWITCH
Always uses the antenna with the strongest signal.
GHOST SIGNAL ELIMINATION
Pieps' sophisticated signal verification only displays signals from transceivers and not “ghost signals” from other sources.
AUTO SEARCH-TO-SEND
In the event of a secondary avalanche, the transceiver automatically switches from search to send after a period of inactivity (motion sensor does not detect any movement).
DEPTH BURIAL DETECTION
The PRO IPS is able to detect and indicate deep burials over 2m.
BACKUP MODE
The backup mode is intended for rescuers during passive search tasks, such as probing or shoveling.
Here, the backup mode mutes the ‘SEND’ signal when the device is in the SEND position, so that other searchers can concentrate on the signal of the buried subject.

DUAL ANTENNA SIGNAL PROCESSING

The already leading signal tracking quality of PIEPS has
been further improved with the PIEPS PRO IPS.
Thanks to DUAL ANTENNA SIGNAL PROCESSING, the
X and Y antenna signals are processed simultaneously. This ensures even
more precise localization of the transmission signal, effective elimination of
ghost signals and a very high real range. This provides the
user receives an extremely reliable and
stable direction indicator

INTERFERENCE PROTECTION SYSTEM (IPS)

This unique technology compensates for the influence of electronic
and metallic interference on the transmitting device by analyzing the interference signals
and adapting to them. Thus, the PIEPS PRO IPS delivers the
maximum transmission power.
Therefore, users of the PIEPS PRO IPS are better protected against interference in an emergency
by objects that could minimize the transmission power.
Electronic products can cause a variety of interferences.
With the IPS system, we can compensate for a large part of it,
but due to their diversity, we cannot exclude all interferences.
Thus, we still recommend a minimum distance of
20 cm in send mode and 50 cm in search mode to possible sources of interference
