Finally, skins can be stowed protected easily and safely. We developed the skinny for splitboards together with Montana. It has a larger diameter than its brother for ski touring skins and is thus perfectly matched to the very wide splitboard skins. But even those who are on the road with a fat freeride ski can handle the "Splitboards Europe Skinny" better.
Everyone knows it: the fumbling at the neat folding of the coat. what works well in practice, to glue the skins together, has serious disadvantages.
1. The wide splitboard skins are difficult to separate.
2. The glue is sustainably damaged. he will blurt on the hair with time. sticking often brings nothing. A new coat costs about 150 EUR.
But with the problems is now over! Thanks skinny! Skinny is made of an elastic material, to which the fur adhesive only slightly adheres. The coat is glued in and to the skinny in 3 steps. Sounds a bit complicated, but it is not. The picture shows you a bit, but the best thing you can do is test the skinny from Splitboards Europe itself at one of our camps.
Tip:
When the winter is over and the skins are stored over the summer, it is recommended to stick the skins together (without skinny). This prevents the glue from drying out over the long period of time.
Note: From 2015 we changed the manufacturer, our Skinny's are now produced by colltex. Therefore, they may differ in color and are produced without imprint. The imprint was always a problem, because it peeled off, which looked ugly.
