1204g - It's time to redefine what's possible with the Fusion.
The Fusion features a significantly smaller footprint and a design optimized for backcountry snowboarding.
To ensure it can withstand even the toughest conditions, this rugged backcountry boot is equipped with our proven Rock Guard, which offers protection against rocks and ice.
The Fusion is equipped with a snow shield that protects the lower part of the boot from snow, ice and moisture to keep your feet dry.
The backcountry liner offers a truly customized fit and a flexible toe box that provides a precise yet forgiving feel. For even more comfort and control, the Fusion uses our L3 lacing system with quick lacing* to enclose the foot and calf, and it features the BOA® Fit System to lock in the ankle and heel.
This zonal fit allows you to keep your ankle and forefoot in place while your leg can move in the boot when climbing.

Tech info
Our most advanced and versatile speed lacing system provides three different lacing zones using two clasps and two handles. One handle allows the boot to cradle your foot and calf while the other handle secures the ankle and heel. Thanks to these separate zones, the boot an - chors your heel for a refined fit that enhances energy transmission.
The Dial in to micro-ad - justable precision fit with the BOA® Fit Sys - tem, which delivers more explosive action and unparalleled accuracy. Boots with a dual zone BOA® configuration provide zonal adjustability so you can create a truly customized fit, for even longer days on the hill. BOA® Fit System is engineered to per - form in the toughest conditions.
This strap supports your shin and improves the response of the boot. A third strap is also included. This can be used to optionally secure the boot to the highback, which provides even more edge hold on ascents.
The Freeride Tongue by DEELUXE is a smooth-running inner shoe. Extra plush, it maximizes comfort and cushioning while improving durability. It is at home on the whole mountain and loves to carve particularly smooth turns. And for a truly customized ride, the Freeride Tongue features a three-position pocket that can hold an optional Flex Booster. This allows you to customize the flex of your boot and make it either symmetrical or asymmetrical. With the Freeride Tongue by DEELUXE, you can leave your mark anywhere on the mountain.
Available as an acces - sory, the Flex Booster strengthens a boot’s tongue, creating a stiffer flex while offering additional support. It can also prolong the life of a boot by restoring or enhancing its flex. Thanks to a progressive design, it provides greater resistance as it bends, optimizing support and protec - tion—especially from harsh landings. As icing on the cake, the Flex Booster enables you to modify a boot’s flex for specific adventures—be that reinfor - cing the flex of a jib boot to slay kickers or transforming a freestyle boot into a banked slalom hero. You don’t need gym shorts to appreciate this flex.
No matter the adventure, you can depend on the Vibram Eastridge sole. With an emphasis on traction and durability, it excels whether you’re hiking, skinning, or riding. Its proven Vibram ICETREK rubber compound is specifically engineered to endure very low temperatures and provide superior grip on cold and icy surfaces. Special climbing zones in the toe and heel area offer additional traction to make ascents safer and easier. And thanks to lugs with a self-cleaning design, the sole readily sheds snow, dirt, and rocks. Get ready to explore with the Vibram Eastridge sole.
Expert tip
It happened :)
For over 10 years I have been preaching: If it has to be a crampon-compatible splitboard boot, then please don't use too much volume and less weight. Unnecessary volume in splitboard boots is a problem when touring, whether on the descent or ascent, the unnecessary 1-2cm more material is just annoying. Additional weight of up to 1kg is added. I have known Deeluxe since the beginning and they have been at our splitboard festival CTM for years. In 2024, Wolfi (Deeluxe sales representative) had the Fusion in the right size with him as an advance model (sample). Of course I was skeptical and on the phone I would have definitely turned down the offer to test this boot.
But since I got it in my hands right away, two knock-out criteria could be immediately proven.
- Weight (first impression: it's light for a crampon-compatible boot)
- volume (there isn't an inch of unnecessary volume)
So I tried the FUSION for the rest of the season. I took it to Sweden and the Pyrenees, among other places, and it was great every time. But that's an advantage on ascents and others certainly won't find it too stiff. It's built to be super robust and can be laced reliably. The sole is awesome – almost like crampons :)
Conclusion:
Great stuff, Deeluxe and thanks Wolfi for thinking of me.
Incidentally, the boot is UNI-Sex (which probably explains the great fit) and now we finally have a very good ladies splitboard boot.
My feet are measured 27.3cm and the MONDO 27.5 fits perfectly like a 2nd skin!
Deeluxe has already included a third strap, which is in the box.
