Voile Pucks Standard or Canted

Bindungsabstand und -winkel einstellen (Stance)

1.) Nimm zunächst die Voilé Puck Montageschablone,
dazu die 4 Voilé Pucks,
4 Puck Formdichtungen,
2 Voilé Puck Discs quer/parallel,
2 Voilé Puck Discs längs/inline und
die 8 M6 x 12 mm Flachkopfschrauben/Kreuzschlitz. (Bild 7)

2.) Das Board mit den an Tip und Tail eng zusammengefügten Hooks auf den Boden/die Werkbank legen.
Nun den gewünschten Stance markieren. Ein kleiner Strich in der Mitte des Boards genügt.
Tipp: Hooks mit einer Klammer oder kleinen Schraubzwinge fixieren. (Bild 8 und 9)

3.) Die Puck Formdichtungen unter alle 4 Voilé Pucks stecken. (Bild 10)

4.) Schieb 2 zusammengesetzte Pucks in die Voilé Puck Montageschablone
und platziere diese auf der Markierung für den vorderen Fuß.
Erscheint die gesetzte Markierung im kleinen runden Sichtfenster, hast du deine Position getroffen. (Bild 11)

5.) Das Board liegt auf einem festen, nicht rutschenden Untergrund.
Die Montageschablone ist über der Markierung zentriert.
Nimm nun eine Voilé Puck Disc längs/inline und setze sie in den Heel-Side Puck (Fersenposition).
Wähle den gewünschten Winkel und platziere es über den vorgesehenen Inserts. (Bild 12)

6.) Nun einen Toe-Side/Frontside Puck (Zehenposition) im gleichen Winkel in den anderen,
noch freien Puck einsetzen. Ebenfalls über den vorgesehenen Inserts platzieren. (Bild 13)

7.) Die Voilé Montageschablone fest aufs Board pressen.
Pro Puck 2 der M6 x 12 mm Flachkopfschrauben einsetzen und mit einem Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendreher festdrehen.
Dabei die Schrauben nicht verkannten! Schäden an den Inserts könnten entstehen. Schrauben gut festziehen. (Bild 14)

8.) Die Voilé Montageschablone abnehmen. (Bild 15)

9.) Schiebe die Bindung auf die Pucks. Dies sollte mit leichtem, gleichmäßigem Druck gut funktionieren.
Lässt sich die Bindung nur mit großem Kraftaufwand aufschieben,
korrigiere die Feinabstimmung der Pucks, wiederhole im Prinzip Punkt 7.

10.) Fixiere die Bindung gemäß den jeweiligen Herstellerangaben.
Die Bindung sollte kein Spiel haben. Lässt sie sich doch vor und zurück bewegen, oder lässt sie sich nicht fixieren,
sind die Pucks nicht exakt genug montiert und Schritt 7–9 müssen wiederholt werden.
Oft genügen minimale Anpassungen (Bild 16)

11.) Läuft alles wie gewünscht und die Bindung sitzt ohne Spiel auf den Pucks,
lass sie auf dem Board und montiere die Pucks für den hinteren Fuß.
Gehe genauso vor wie schon in den Schritten 4–10 beschrieben.

12) Stelle die Boots in die Bindung und prüfe mit einem Blick auf die Breitseite,
ob der Boot mittig positioniert ist, also Zehen und Ferse gleich weit von der Kante entfernt sind bzw. überstehen.

Not us... 98% of Voile products are made in the Salt Lake Valley, including splitboards, skis, tele bindings, and the world-famous Voile straps.

Production Keeping production local allows us to maintain complete control over the manufacturing processes of our products. This ensures quality of workmanship and performance. It also allows us the flexibility to make changes on the fly and test prototypes of new designs right outside our front door. We are gear geeks and tool lovers, passionate about innovating and improving to create an “even better” product. Backcountry gear, made in Utah by skiers for skiers (or splitboarders, if that's your thing).

Our facilities are bustling with activity. Our team is busy curating award-winning ski designs. Meanwhile, massive dies are punching wide sheets into shovels and Telemark front ends. Steel edges are sawn and carefully bent into shape, while a wood core and our proprietary carbon fiber are placed in cassettes and loaded onto the press. The production team is relatively small, 31 dedicated employees, who you might well come across on the slopes.

Because our backcountry gear is handcrafted by skilled technicians, we can't make a million skis and splitboards every day. While that means you might have to wait for products to come back into stock, we promise you'll be glad you did.

Environmental footprint Keeping production at home helps reduce our global environmental footprint. Sending production overseas requires vast amounts of unnecessary energy; products are often sent back and forth between different manufacturing stages, finally coming to the States and then back to the country where they finally find their place. It's a fossil fuel nightmare that we absolutely avoid. We use raw materials from domestic production whenever possible and keep all domestic production within a few kilometers. Our production center also serves as our headquarters, retail store, service center and showroom: we use our resources sensibly instead of contributing to urban sprawl in the countryside.

And if you're coming from the valley, you can pick up your gear right at our retail store, reducing the need for packaging and shipping! Backcountry gear, made in Utah, sold in Utah, and ridden in Utah (and all over the world!) We recognize that Salt Lake City's air quality decreases significantly due to the wintertime inversion weather pattern. As a manufacturing facility, Voile follows all local and state regulations to limit our impact on air quality.

Community Karma We love Utah, the Wasatch Mountains, and our community of backcountry enthusiasts. Voile has a long history of supporting local organizations such as the Utah Avalanche Center, the Wasatch Backcountry Alliance, and other local non-profits and events. We will continue to support the community to the best of our ability. What goes around comes around you get back. Also, Voile is a privately held company with three owners who prioritize making quality products over their own bottom line. The owners are local ski industry legends who work day-to-day and may even be your neighbors. As such, they are deeply connected to our backcountry community and local outdoor industry.
